An epic semi final saw the silver fern flying high for Brotox as they got over the line against Dad’s army. Scott MacGregor was immense with 24 points and Adam Darragh helping with 15. However after slicing it back to a one basket game, Brotox persevered with Antonio Reyes (19) and Thalo Green (15) coming up big.
The Grand final should be an excellent match with Brotox coming close the last few years. Meatballs will rely on their defensive starting forward Dale Hinze and Andy Harrison, who average a combined 3 points per game. An emotional Harrison was fired up about the prospect over another Grand final, “We were all doing it for Darryn LeGassick, he’s is the driving force behind The Meatballs. To see someone of his age, getting out there, giving 100% is a big inspiration for us younger guys”. This game will be live streamed as well.
