Gold Coast District Rugby Union Draw revealed

The 2020 draw for the Gold Coast District rugby union first and second grade competitions have finally been revealed, with several first round blockbusters.

The 2020 draw for the Gold Coast District rugby union competition has finally been revealed.

The addition of Coomera and Palm Beach Currumbin to the first grade of first grade will see bye rounds phased out in 2020, with round-long breaks in place for the ANZAC Day and the Queen’s Birthday weekends on 25 April and 6 June.

Four pre-season matches will be played in a ‘Country Round’ weekend at Yarrabilba, Yatala, Beaudesert and Tamborine Mountain on 4 April.

The regular season will run from 18 April to 22 August.
