Southport Labrador won the toss and sent Broadbeach Robina in to bat at GUGC oval, with the latter compiling a total of 161 runs on the back of knocks from Tom Scriven (38 runs) and opener Steven Baker (34 runs).

It proved to be enough with Southport Labrador struggling at 6/96 before being bowled out for 134 runs, with Broadbeach Robina, who have now won four games straight, boasting seven different wicket takers.
