Gold Coast Rollers 2025 QSL Youth League squad breakdown

The Gold Coast Rollers women’s QSL Youth League side has locked in a spot in the finals this year and has the chance to move up to third place on the ladder in the final game of season.

As the team prepares for a massive contest in the last week before finals we have shone a light on every player to have featured for the Rollers this season.

Amelia Thomas

Thomas is the starting point guard with a bright potential.

She is an aggressive, athletic player who is quick on her feet and has averaged 12.3 points per game.

She proved herself as a big-game player with a stunning 32-point outing against local rivals North Gold Coast.

Emily Higazi

Higazi is one of the younger members of the squad but has had an immense impact.

The shooting guard brings a team-first mindset and sets a solid foundation for the team and is a regular member of the starting five.

She has averaged a handy 8.5 points per game this season.

Breanna Dwyer

Dwyer has a netball background and is an exciting, athletic presence around the rim with her impressive jumping ability.

She has a great ability of picking off passes and is a strong, quick player at small forward.

Jemma Hunter

A tall, promising player who has aspirations to play in college.

Hunter can switch between various positions and has a strong mid-range jumpshot.

She uses her height to full advantage as she is a hard rebounder.

Lauren Mitchell

another younger player, she has shown great growth as a player throughout the season.

Her game IQ continues to improve and gives her all to battle for the rebounds.

She has also worked on her offence to become a solid option in attack.

Liana Koo

A mature, level-headed shooting guard who can either play as a starter or an impact player off the bench.

Her vocal leadership and game knowledge has made her a strong captain and she is a dangerous outside shooter.

Georgia Fleming

Fleming made her long-awaited return to the team after a year out with injury.

She is a level-headed point guard and has started to find her feet on the floor again after scoring 12 points in the most recent game.

On defence, she locks down her opponents and cuts off any drives towards the rim.

Edina Chisalita

A shooting guard who has developed through the Gold Coast Basketball junior ranks and has a dangerous three-point shot in her arsenal.

She drives hard to the basket and is aggressive on defence.

Marley Litera

A tall power forward or centre who is still adapting to the physicality of the game at the Youth League level but has a great attitude and puts her absolute all into every clash.

Litera has also shown potential to become a strong mid-range shooter in years to come.

Addie Hinze

The youngest player on the team, Hinze has shown solid progress throughout the season.

Whenever she is on the court, she gives her absolute all to lock down opposing key players.

Her physicality on the defensive end has made her a key player to turn to off the bench.

Hinze’s rebounding ability has helped her cash in with put back buckets on the offensive end.

Leah Murphy

A mature point guard who reads the game well and always makes the right pass to create strong looks for her teammates.
