Brabham, 24, won a Wildcat all-terrain vehicle and in true Mexican style got to smash a victory pinata on the podium — but what he really wants is a full-time motor racing drive.
“Finally, we got it done and I could not be happier,” a beaming Brabham said after a season which involved six series wins and 13 podiums.
“It has been a tough year on so many fronts but it’s great to finally get this title in the bag.
I could not be happier to cap off the title by winning the final event of the season,” Brabham said.
“Hopefully this continues to keep my name out there and a full-time circuit drive presents itself in the next month or two. We are working hard on it every day.”
Brabham learned his racecraft in go-karts and Formula Ford in Australia before heading to the US where he won titles in smaller motorsport categories before going onto win Indy Lights races.
