Captain – Ewan MacLeod

MacLeod has been a member of the First XI squad since Year 9. He’s a born leader with an outstanding ability and attitude. MacLeod also plays for the Gold Coast Knights 20s side and Senior Mens team. A central midfield general.

Attacking midfielder - Josh Dimarco

Scored twice in 2019 against premiership winners Churchie in their only defeat of the campaign, a 2-1 win for TSS. A member of the Brisbane Roar Academy for three years running. Dimarco is another who has played for the TSS First XI since Year 9 and has matured into a very talented and dangerous attacking player. Look out for his speed and dribbling skills in the attacking half.

Centre Forward – Lochie Johnston

Johnston scored two cracking goals against BSHS last year in a 2-1 TSS win, the second lobbing the keeper from all of 45 yards out. The attacker too has played for the First XI since Year 9 and is looking extremely sharp scoring several goals in pre-season games. Johnston also plays for Gold Coast United’s Under-18 Squad.

Goal Keeper – Lachy Duke

Duke is considered one of the most exciting goal keeping prospects in the country having been recognised by being invited to National Training Camps at the AIS. The year 10 student also plays for the Brisbane Roar and this will be his first experience of GPS football.

Central Defender – Max Sabados

Sabados had his first taste of GPS Football in 2019 and showed his class and composure in some solid performances at centre back. With the ability to also play at full back or in midfield, Sabados is now keen to dominate our opponents with his aggressive defending and excellent range of passing. Also plays for the Gold Coast Knights.
