A talented wicketkeeper with clean gloves while an aggressive top order batter. Smashed a high score of 65 runs 97 balls in senior women’s cricket last season, while Ayson hit a high score of 43 runs from 36 balls against Mareeba in round 6 this season.

Chantel Gordon – (Mulgrave – Yarrabah)

A lethal pace bowler who bowls seam up and likes to swing the ball, while a solid middle order batter. The rising star represented Queensland at the U12 cricket championships, while is captain of the CFN U13 rep team.

Indiana Palmer (Atherton/Mareeba)

An all-round terrific cricketer. Palmer is an exciting and calculated fast bowler, top order batter and reliable fielder.

The Mareeba all-rounder hit a season high 38* runs from 71 balls, aiding her side in a victory against Mulgrave in the open women’s competition.

Represented CFN at the U15 Northern Carnival and the open women’s at the NQCA open zone championships.

Anisha Sandher (Mulgrave)

Emerging pace bowler who consistently takes wickets, Sandher had a strong campaign at the NQCA open zone championships, taking 3-11 from three overs against North Queensland, while claiming a pair of wickets against both Central Queensland and Mackay-Whitsunday.

A middle order bat who has power and timing on her side.

Brooke Butler (Mareeba)

A dangerous medium pace-spin bowler. Butler has been terrific taking a season high 5-16 from 4.2 overs against Mulgrave in the Jimmy Maher Cup last season, while also taking 4-2 from one over in a senior women’s match against Norths.

A strong middle order bat, Butler hit 44* runs not out from 57 balls while playing for Halpin Hurricanes against Thunder in the Women’s Barrier Reef Big Bash.

Juliette Wenitong (Norths)

A fierce opening pace bowler who swings the ball and troubles opposition. Wenitong

claimed 4-19 from four overs against Mareeba earlier this season in senior women’s.

Scores quickly from the middle order, the Norths bowler has represented CFN at U15 and U18 level.

She was in strong form at the U15 Northern Carnival, taking five wickets including 3-10 from four overs against Mackay-Whitsunday.

Tobi Green (Norths)

Top order batter that takes the game on. Green is another who has experienced senior women’s cricket while representing CFN at the U15 Girls Northern Carnival.

A developing spinner and great leader of her teams, she smashed 29 runs from 30 balls recently while playing for Norths against Mulgrave in the James Hopes Cup U13.

Madeline Swan-Brenton (Mulgrave/Barron River)

A patient top order batter who punishes the bad deliveries and cautiously defends the tough balls. Young and exciting talent with potential to keep rising, Swan-Brenton is a medium pace bowler who has played senior cricket, while also representing CFN at the Under 15 Girls Northern Carnival.

Emily Jaszczyszyn (Mareeba)

The Mareeba star is a dynamic young all-rounder, excelling as a pace bowler and middle-order batter with impressive performances for U15 and U18 Rep teams, as well as schoolgirls and BRBB. Her standout moments this season include a 3-12 from four overs against Norths and matchwinning innings, including 32 runs off 36 balls against Mulgrave and 34 runs off 49 balls against Rovers in the James Hopes Cup 13s.

Ashleigh Macpherson (Norths)

Macpherson is a dynamic rising star in cricket, known for her medium pace bowling that swings the ball and consistently takes wickets, alongside her aggressive batting as a hard-hitting middle-order player. Representing U15, U18, and Schoolgirls teams, she impressed with 28 runs off 35 balls against Mackay-Whitsunday in the U15 Girls Northern Carnival and a season best 36 runs from 23 balls in the James Hopes Cup 13s.
