Geelong star Gary Rohan and his new wife have shared the first photos of their surprise wedding, just months after their engagement.

Geelong star Gary Rohan and wife Madi Bennett have announced the happy news they got married on Saturday.
The pair shared their first wedding photos on Instagram over the weekend, showing the loved-up couple celebrating their special day.
The couple posted a beautiful wedding picture on Sunday with the caption simply: “Mr & Mrs Rohan” and a love heart.
The stylish, casual rural wedding took place in Tyrendarra, Victoria — a four-hour drive from Melbourne.
The celebrations were also shared in photos posted by friends and family members.
According to The Herald Sun, Madi’s dazzling dress was by designed by Karen Willis Holmes.
Geelong teammates Patrick Dangerfield, Tom Hawkins and retired champion Joel Selwood were among the many people to offer their congratulations on social media.
“Beautiful chuck & Madi,” Hawkins wrote.
The couple announced their engagement in July, just 14 months after their relationship was made public.
Rohan posted at the time: “You showed me how to smile again when I thought I had forgotten how, and you have made me happier than I ever thought I could be. You have made me a better partner, father and person and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you Mads xxx,”.
Madi captioned the same image with: “You make me happier than I ever thought I could be. A kind of happiness I never knew was possible, and a kind of love I thought only existed in movies. You are my whole world and more, and forever with you is everything I could have ever dreamt of. I love you Gaz.”
Rohan already has two daughters Bella, 3, and Sadie, 1 with ex-wife Amie Rohan.
The separated couple’s third daughter Willow Nevaeh, died just five hours after being born as a result of a fatal neural tube defect with no cure known as anencephaly.
Rohan’s four-year marriage reportedly ended when the AFL went into its Covid-19 isolation bubble in 2020, just months after the birth of the pair’s third child Sadie Rose in March last year.
Amie and Gary were childhood sweethearts and married in 2016.
