Riverfront Broadbeach Waters mansion of Billy and Jackie Cross sold to Evonne and James Collier for $12.4m

The multi-million dollar buyers of entertainment power couple Billy and Jackie Cross’s LA-style riverfront mansion have been revealed as another dynamic duo.

The $12.4m buyers of entertainment power couple Billy and Jackie Cross’s LA-style riverfront mansion have been revealed.

Sydney corporate heavyweights Evonne and James Collier settled on the five-bedroom, five bathroom mansion in December after signing on for its purchase last January.

Ms Collier is a seasoned company executive -a current director of Curae Health and 4D Medical and a previous director of companies including 1300 Smiles, Think Childcare, Big Box and Catch Group. Mr Collier is a financial adviser and director of financial services giant KPMG.

The sale of the home, at 297-299 Monaco St, was just shy of the $12.5m record set for the suburb in 2020 by another riverfront mansion, Villa Cantorocco.

The Crosses put their home on the market in September after committing to a $6 million-plus penthouse in yet-to-be-built Main Beach tower White.

Mr Cross, 56, was a founding member in the 1980s of male stage show Manpower, later ran Surfers Paradise nightclubs, and started a show called Thunder Down Under which became a hit in Las Vegas.

The Crosses built their Monaco St home on a 2531sqm holding bought for $3.561 million in 2009.

The new owner is buying a 1560sqm mansion with a gymnasium, steam and massage rooms, 2000-bottle wine cellar, outdoor teppanyaki kitchen, five-car garage, and tennis court.

The buyer also will inherit a mancave with bar, wine fridges, and seven TV sets.
