A BRISBANE buyer has snapped up a unit in an under-construction Surfers Paradise tower for more than $11.5m
The unit is the second in Sammut Group’s Coast tower to sell for more than $10m in the past month.
Situated on level 34 of the $200m Garfield Terrace tower, the unit, which was sold by firm Highland, will become the buyer’s permanent home after they relocate from Brisbane.
It comes just weeks after Harcourt Coastal’s Tolemy Stevens sold a four-bedroom full-floor apartment for $10.75m, leaving just seven units unsold.
Sales of the 53-unit tower have averaged at more than $6m each since it was launched to the market in late 2021.
The buyers have come from local, domestic and international backgrounds.
Sammut Group CEO Allen Sammut said he was happy with the sales.
“We are thrilled to see such strong interest in Coast and we believe this is a testament to the outstanding quality of the development and Sammut Group’s unwavering commitment to creating an exceptional world-class living experience,” he said.
The tower is being built developer Sammut Group in partnership with Alceon Group and builder Multiplex.
