THEY’RE the bold and buxom female mainstays of Gold Coast-based national franchise Ultra Tune’s TV ads – but Parnia Porsche and Laura Lydall care little for the complaints the commercials spark.
The pair are in multiple Ultra Tune ads which typically get the most complaints annually for alleged breaches of advertising standards.
MOGUL BRINGING CHARLIE SHEEN TO AUSTRALIA
Since last year’s promo with ex-heavyweight champ, convicted rapist and The Hangover cameo star Mike Tyson, Porsche has relocated to Beverly Hills and pursued opportunities in music and TV.
Ahead of filming the next instalment in the TV ads with Hollywood bad boy Charlie Sheen, she tells ATG she has landed a part in an MTV series Wild ‘N Out.
The aspiring musician also has three songs she’s about to release and came ninth in the Maxim Hot 100 rankings just out, topped by fellow Gold Coast stunner Sophie Monk.
Porsche says the upcoming Sheen ad – being shot in Melbourne next week – “will definitely be our best one yet” and the former kickboxer says she’s planning to do her own stunts.
Sheen follows Jean-Claude Van Damme and Tyson, with Porsche starring alongside all three.
“The ads are great and open up so many opportunities,” Porsche says.
“From one controversial character to the next, it’s so exciting. You take away everything they have done that was wrong and frowned upon and they have all still achieved so much in their fields. And I definitely believe people can change,” Porsche says.
Lydall, who has her own business in Sydney and is an influencer on social media, says the TV ads have boosted her profile and given her experiences “I’d never dreamed of”.
On Sheen, she says: “He’s a celebrity, he is an actor and that’s all there is to it. He doesn’t say ‘I’m a role model!’.”
