A man is fighting for life in hospital after his motorcycle collided with a ute in Surfers Paradise on Saturday night.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Ferny and Ocean avenues just before 7.30pm where the rider had crashed with a Toyota HiLux ute.
The 41-year-old sustained life-threatening injuries and was treated at the scene before he was rushed to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
He remained fighting for life on Sunday night.
The ute driver was not physically injured from the crash and is assisting police with their inquiries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision or CCTV to get in contact.
