A man has been arrested after allegedly crashing his vehicle into parked cars on a Gold Coast street last night.

A man has been arrested after allegedly crashing a vehicle into parked cars in Labrador last night.
Police and paramedics were called to Clayton Street about 8pm.
It is alleged a 36-year-old man from Springfield Lakes was driving along the street when he smashed the vehicle into a parked car and trailer.

It is understood after the crash he continued to accelerate, causing the tyres to burn and smoke.
He then allegedly tried to leave the scene.

He was arrested by police before being transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
