It was an inspiring afternoon dedicated to networking and camaraderie among the city’s business community when the Apex Club of Townsville held a leadership function at The Banquet Centre, Townsville Brewing Co.
Guest speakers included Lieutenant General (retired) John Caligari and Terry Campese.
Mr Campese made his name in rugby league as a skilled and dynamic playmaker known for his kicking game, vision and leadership qualities.
Mr Caligari served in the ADF for more than 36 years, retiring as a three-star general. He spent 12 years in Townsville in his career, including as Commanding Officer of 1 RAR and Commander of the 3rd Combat Brigade.
Both guest speakers took part in a Q&A session on leadership in 2025.
The Apex Club of Townsville is a volunteer community service which offers people opportunities to gain new skills and make new friends.
