It’s aim is to deliver Australians environmentally conscious, quality but reaonsably priced homes.
“My Bella Casa is just about to launch a $40 million per annum investment into social and affordable housing to address the largest segment on our public housing waitlists: women over 55.”
She calls it “consolidation of my life’s work from development to construction to understanding the complexities in social and affordable housing”.
“I was incredibly determined to solve this problem, and seeing the stories of so many along the way inspired me to deliver real concrete action.
“When you have women phoning you directly asking for help and hearing their stories you begin to realise the path we have set for them was broken.
“I wasn’t raised to wait, wish and hope.
“If anything, I’ve had to unlearn how to be patient in a lifetime that seems so short for all the things I want to get done while I’m here.”
Her ‘Enterpreneurs’ win was “very humbling and I was very grateful for the recognition”.
“To me, it’s a sign I’m on the right path to doing what I believe I am here to do.”
