The one question everyone in South Australia wants to know at this time of year has finally been answer – and the hot tip from the Bureau of Meteorology this festive season is that Christmas in South Australia is looking like a cracker.
What’s the 2024 Christmas Day weather for Adelaide?
Keep your sunnies on hand this Christmas Day as temperatures are predicted to rise into the mid 30s.
The Bureau of Meteorology forecasts a maximum of 35C on the big day with a prediction of sunny weather in Adelaide and just a 5 per cent chance of rain.
Winds are predicted to come in from the northeast to the northwest 15 to 25 km/h in the morning.
Similarly, down in Victor Harbor it should reach a mostly sunny 33C, while further south in Robe, the mercury is expected to hit 27C.
The heat also will be revving up in Clare, with the UV index predicted to reach high levels and a cloud-free 35C.
Glenelg’s looking just as warm with a sunny 33C with a low of 17C.
Christmas dwellers up at Elizabeth will need to lather on their sunscreen as temperatures will rise to 37C.
Noarlunga is looking at a mostly sunny day as well, with high of 34C and a low of 16C.

In Whyalla, Christmas Day is set to be 36C, with a gentle breeze becoming north to north-easterly in the morning.
