The Farm at Clarendon launches bid to have Katy Perry visit her namesake – a Highland cow

A cow-cuddling farm in the Adelaide Hills is hoping to create a social media “moo-ment” with pop superstar Katy Perry while she’s in town for her tour. Find out why.

A cow-cuddling farm in the Adelaide Hills is hoping to create a social media “moo-ment” to have pop superstar Katy Perry meet her namesake, who happens to be a Highland cow.

Taking to Instagram, The Farm in Clarendon issued an appeal for the singer to pay their dairy diva a visit while she’s in town for her four Adelaide shows.

“We’re so excited you’re here,” The Farm posted, tagging Perry.

“But do you know who else is dying to meet you? Our fabulous four-legged diva… Katy Perry the Highland cow!”

“She’s got the hair, the attitude, and the star power – just missing the world tour and the rocket to space (but we’re working on it).”

On Tuesday night, The Farm said there were ongoing discussions with Perry’s team about getting the two KPs to meet when Perry returns to Adelaide later this week.

They called for their followers to share the post and tag the singer.

“Let’s create a viral moo-ment right here in South Australia,” they said.

The US singer has already shocked fans by jetting into South Australia for a pre-tour visit of Kangaroo Island over the weekend.

Together with her daughter Daisy, Perry stayed at the award-winning Southern Ocean Lodge, the five-star resort located on a cliff in Hanson Bay overlooking the Southern Ocean.

Later she revealed to fans she had become unwell during her stay.

“I had a random fever,” she was heard telling a fan before she departed the island.

The human Katy Perry is set to return to Adelaide this week, with shows on Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday – part of her 15-date Australian tour.

The bovine Perry is available now for meet and greets with the public as the star attraction of The Farm’s cuddle a cow experience.
