Teens caught with a pile of stolen air conditioners, copper piping and other items at Glynde

Two teenagers have been nabbed after they were spotted allegedly acting suspiciously on a demolition site with a trailer crammed with stolen items.

Two teenagers have been caught with a car and trailer allegedly full of stolen items overnight at Glynde.

On Monday, police received a report of two people acting suspiciously at a vacant premises under demolition in Barnes Rd around 11pm.

Patrols quickly found the two people on the property, as well as a car and trailer full of air conditioners, copper piping and other items that are believed to have been stolen.

An 18-year-old Gilles Plains man was arrested and charged with being unlawfully on premises, theft, unlawful possession, going equipped to commit an offence and breach of bail. He was refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later on Tuesday.

And a 17-year-old Greenacres boy was reported for being unlawfully on premises and will face the Youth Court at a later date.

The car and trailer were seized and towed away for forensic examination.
