Police have released CCTV footage showing a person of interest in connection to a suspicious house fire in Adelaide’s northeastern suburbs over the weekend.
In the footage, a man wearing what appears to be a white hooded jumper, can be seen lurking on the property in the dark, about the same time the blaze erupted.
Emergency services were called to Esther Binks Ave, Greenacres, to find a house on fire on Sunday, just after 2am.
Fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze, with no one home at the time.
The fire caused extensive damage to the front bedroom and smoke damage to the rest of the house.
Eastern District detectives have deemed the fire as suspicious, and are continuing to investigate the incident.
Anyone who recognises this man or has information that may assist with the investigation is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
