11-year-old boy hit by car on Sir Donald Bradman Drive in Adelaide’s western suburbs
A young boy has been struck by an elderly driver on a busy Adelaide road overnight.

An 11-year-old boy was taken to hospital with after he was hit by a car allegedly driven by an 84-year-old woman on Thursday night
The young pedestrian was at Sir Donald Bradman Dr near Augusta St, Cowandilla when he was struck at about 8.30pm on Thursday.
An 84-year-old Hope Valley woman was allegedly driving a Ford hatchback when it hit the boy, SA Police said.
The 11-year-old was taken to hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the hatchback was not injured in the crash.
This incident comes just weeks after a two-year-old boy was struck and killed by a vehicle in the carpark of a business north of Adelaide.
Kyrie Horspool was hit by a vehicle at Tyrepower Elizabeth in the shop’s Peachey Rd car park on Friday, May 30.
A driver was arrested and charged on Thursday for causing death by careless driving and will appear before the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on July 31.
