American comedian, actor and TV show host Eric Andre performed his world famous comedy show live in Brisbane to an ecstatic and excited participating crowd on Tuesday evening at the Fortitude Music Hall.

Andre did not fail to live up to his reputation for delivering an X-rated, self deprecating and hilarious performance with an abundance of crowd participation, references to his iconic “Eric Andre Show” and involving local guests.

He brought a whirlwind of laughter, absurdity, and downright chaos to the stage.

Californian DJ and comedian DouggPound warmed the audience up with bizarre remixes where he combined familiar tunes with his own “DJ Dougg” take on various rap songs.

Dougg recounted his recent dating history and demonstrated how not to attract a partner with his unconventional pick-up lines, while also quoting controversial cultural references which astounded the crowd.

Andre’s entrance incorporated several plates of food, water guns, alcohol and confetti smothering the front row, which was well received.

With his trademark energy and unpredictability, he immediately launched into a barrage of outrageous jokes, pranks, and surreal antics that left the crowd in stitches.

He sat at his familiar desk, which he is most known online for, as he welcomed Brisbane musicians Hope D and Sahara Beck.

Hope D was left with no choice but to “chug” three cans of beer, one can of red bull, one shot of hot sauce and a mug of cough medicine mixed with red wine.

The first audience interaction of the show was a man who volunteered to join Andre for the “sexy segment”.

The brave volunteer was handcuffed to a cross and whipped by Andre, much to the audiences amusement.

The most unhinged part of the performance happened when a second courageous audience member fronted the stage for his head to be shaved.

The young man chuckled, while audience members gasped in disbelief, as his long wavy hair was buzzed off, down the middle, by Andre’s assistant.

Throughout the show Andre made sure to include the rest of the audience in his insanity by sanitising the front row’s hands with PVA glue, accepting a marriage proposal and encouraging fans to kiss on his kiss cam.

American delicacy ranch sauce became a prominent feature of the night when Brisbane man Hayden was called to the stage to compete in a ranch sauce drinking competition.

Hayden was proud to display his talents while consuming four whole bottles of ranch sauce, equating to nearly 1.5 litres.

The star of the night, Hayden, also took out the award for beating himself out from inside a taped cardboard removal box.

Andre displayed his talents in accommodating for an audience, no matter where in the world he performs, by catering his comedy to an Australian crowd.

He made references to Australian accents, supermarkets and tested the limits of his audience by stripping himself and volunteers half naked on several occasions.

The show came to a contrasting wholesome encounter when Andre rekindled young love live on stage when he use FaceTime to ask a volunteer’s ex-girlfriend for a chance at redemption.

The crowd screamed with encouragement as the young couple decided to give their relationship another chance as Andre made sure to humiliate and call out the man’s wrongdoings.

Andre’s unique style of comedy, which blends surrealism, shock humour, and social commentary, was on full display throughout the evening.

He fearlessly tackled taboo subjects, pushed boundaries, and challenged the audience’s expectations at every turn.
