Police establish crime scene after house gutted by fire at Darra
A crime scene has been established after a home was gutted by fire in Brisbane’s southwest overnight.

A house has been gutted by fire in a southwest of Brisbane in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were called to a structure fire at Pannard St, Darra just before 3.30am.
On arrival, crews found a house well engulfed by flames.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said six crews quickly got into action to battle the blaze.
“The fire was contained to the area of origin at about 3.50am,” he said. “The fire was extinguished at 5.30am.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said no patients were reported at the scene.
Police have declared a crime scene and fire investigators will be sent to the address today.
