Man freed from wreckage, flown to hospital after serious crash at Belli Park
More details have emerged about the rescue of a man who was flown to hospital in a life-threatening condition following a Sunshine Coast crash.

More details have emerged after a serious hinterland crash which left a man fighting for life in hospital.
Paramedics rushed to Belli Park to reports a vehicle crashed into a tree on the corner of Paddy Melon Ln and Eumundi Kenilworth Rd at 9.22pm on Friday evening.
A rescue helicopter was called however due to severe weather conditions, the LifeFlight medical team was taken by ambulance to the crash site.
The man was freed from the wreckage by emergency crews with police, firefighters and paramedics all on scene.
The patient, a man in his 40s, was treated for significant head and chest injuries by the LifeFlight critical care doctor, a QAS flight paramedic and local paramedics.
He was rushed by ambulance to Sunshine Coast Airport before he was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for further treatment.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
Just over an hour later, a woman in her 20s with “potentially life-threatening injuries” was rushed to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital after a single-vehicle crash on Bli Bli Rd, Bli Bli at 10.27pm.
