Bush, who was 34 at the time, was uninjured in the accident and following investigations from the Crash Investigation Unit the four charges were laid.

He spent a night remanded in custody and was granted bail the next day with his defence lawyer telling the court Bush denies driving in a negligent or dangerous manner and that it was a tragic accident.

At the time the police prosecutor told the court Bush was driving a defective car with a bald rear tyre and defective door.

Bush appeared before Magistrate Julia Virgo on Tuesday in an attempt to reduce his reporting from three times, to once a week, with the court hearing that poor phone service interfered with the necessary reporting calls.

Ms Virgo told the court that all conditions had been complied with since Bush was first given bail and that she would grant the request and reduce reporting.

The case was adjourned to March 11.
