A champion Mid-North Coast NSW cyclist has landed in court pleading guilty to stalking another man – but will fight a charge of destroying a car.

A champion cyclist from Taree has landed in court pleading guilty to stalking another man, but will fight a charge of destroying a car.
Glenn Mathiske has been an A-grade rider with the Manning Valley Cycle Club for many years.
He has been sponsored to ride in a number of high profile events across Australia and overseas.
Now the 48-year-old has pleaded guilty to stalking and intimidating another man at Herons Creek about 10.18am on January 28 this year.
Mathiske has pleaded not guilty to intentionally or recklessly destroying a Nissan X-Trail SUV at the same time.
He was served with a court attendance notice on the afternoon of May 30 in Taree and later charged at Wauchope Police Station, near Herons Creek.
The case last came before Port Macquarie Local Court on July 17.
It was adjourned to September 3 for hearing.
