Southwest Queensland is home to Australia’s biggest cotton farm – Cubbie Station – which sits across almost 100,000ha in the Goondiwindi region.

The cotton farm and ginnery was purchased by Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets in 2022 and has continued to produce cotton and other arable crops.

Charlotte Plains near Cunnamulla is used for more than just sheep grazing, with the impressive property also known as a top tourist destination with its artesian hot springs and camping areas.

The more than 20,000ha property has been in owner Robyn Russell’s family for more than a century.
