A 63-year-old motorcyclist has died in a collision with a truck south of Brisbane.

The accident happened just after 3.30pm on Saturday, when the rider was travelling along Compton Rd, Underwood.

His motorcycle struck the rear of a flat-bed truck.

The Slacks Creek man sustained critical injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
