Woman, 64, dies in Greenmount crash

A woman has died and two drivers suffered serious head, chest and leg injuries in a crash at Greenmount, about 20km south of Toowoomba.

A 64-year-old woman has died in a two-vehicle crash at Greenmount, about 20km south of Toowoomba.

The vehicles collided near the intersection of Greenmount-Eton Vale and McNallys roads about 6.15pm on Sunday.

Queensland Ambulance Service said the Greenmount woman who was trapped in the vehicle was declared deceased at the scene.

In the same vehicle, a man in his 60s with serious head and arm injuries was taken in a life-threatening condition to Toowoomba Hospital, QAS reported.

In the second vehicle one female in her 60s with head, chest and leg injuries was taken by road to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
