Stafford Heights man killed in car and truck crash on D’Aguilar Highway at Stony Creek
A Brisbane man has died after a two-vehicle truck crash on the D’Aguilar Highway this morning.

A Stafford Heights man has died after a fatal truck crash which shut down the D’Aguilar Highway for several hours this morning.
Emergency crews rushed to D’Aguilar Highway between Searle and Holmwood roads near Stony Creek following reports of a serious truck and car crash at 10.15am.
The man, 67, who was driving a Toyota Corolla died at the scene.
The driver of the B-double, a 66-year-old Araluen man sustained non-life threatening Injuries and was transported to Caboolture Hospital for treatment.
The D’Aguilar Highway was earlier closed off in both directions with diversions in place.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman urged motorists to avoid the area and seek an alternative route.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating with witnesses or people with dashcam footage urged to contact police.
