A man has died after he was struck by a truck on the M1 at Pimpama, with kilometres of traffic delays.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the pedestrian was hit near Exit 49, about 7.30am on Tuesday.
Police closed all southbound lanes a short time later.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said the incident was not being treated as suspicious.
At 9.15am police reopened two southbound lanes to traffic with more than 14km of delays stretching back to Beenleigh.
Traffic had also slowed northbound near Pimpama.
