An Energex spokesman said crews conducted emergency repairs in Marma Court at Currumbin.

It is believed the falling branch could be connected to recent storms in the area.

It comes after heavy thunderstorms and rainfall lashed the entire Gold Coast on Friday night, cutting off power in the northern suburbs.
