A North Coast supermarket was targeted in a brazen burglary, leaving the retailer to board up its front door and window.

A North Coast retailer has had to board up its front door and window after they were smashed in during a brazen smash-and-grab burglary.
It is alleged that about 3am on Tuesday, February 4, up to five boys aged in their teens took to the store forcing their way inside.
They allegedly stole four television sets valued at $249 each and other items before fleeing.
Concerned residents vented on social media worried the retailer could close, including one woman saying: “we will probably lose that supermarket soon as they will have had enough”.
Another woman said: “Will this never end? Something has to be done.”
“Place is a joke,” another man said, “all the shops will be boarded up soon enough.”
Sources told this publication CCTV of the burglary show four youths inside taking the television sets and other things while one remained outside on watch.
Another woman commented seeing two boys pushing a trolley on Phillip St with two new television boxes in it about 7.40am.
Aldi were contacted for comment.
A police spokesman said officers were currently investigating the incident.
