A 20-year-old man has been arrested in a raid at Casino over a string of alleged property-related crimes spanning the length and breadth of the Northern Rivers.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested in a raid at Casino over a string of alleged property related crimes spanning the length and breadth of the Northern Rivers.
Michael Connors, 20, was taken into custody at a home at Oak Ave, Casino on Tuesday and later charged with 26 property, traffic and drug-related charges.
The alleged offences include four counts of aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence while armed, three counts of stealing a vehicle, stealing, assault, stalking and intimidate, having suspected stolen goods and recruit a child to carry/out assist in criminal activity.
During the raid, police allegedly seized a machete, hammer, mobile phone, cannabis, and keys to a stolen vehicle.
The raid was the result of a targeted investigation into linked crimes allegedly committed from Woolgoolga and Kingscliff between November 26 and December 2 last year.
Police from the Northern Rivers and Coffs Harbour Region Enforcement Squads attended the property with officers from Richmond Police District, the North Coast Domestic Violence High Risk Offender Team, a dog unit and police rescue.
Police said Connors was issued with a Firearms Prohibition Order and a Digital Evidence Access Order at the Oak Ave property before being taken to Casino police station.
Connors appeared in Lismore Court on Wednesday where he was formally refused bail.
He is due back in court in Coffs Harbour on March 11.
