Commuters have faced delays of up to 30 minutes following a crash on a motorway in Brisbane’s west.
Paramedics were called to the Centenary Highway at Spring Mountain about 7.41am to reports of a crash involving a car and motorbike.
Delays of at least 30 minutes were expected in the eastbound lanes of the highway from the Springfield Central off-ramp, but traffic is beginning to ease.
Earlier, commuters heading into Brisbane on the Warrego Highway endured major delays early on Tuesday morning following a multi-vehicle car and truck crash.
Emergency services were called to a crash involving a truck and three other vehicles on the Warrego Highway at Karalee at 4.30am.
The crash caused two eastbound lanes of the Warrego Highway to be blocked, with diversions in place one kilometre after the Tivoli on-ramp. Motorists were urged to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
Traffic stretched back from Darren Lockyer Way at Brassall, through to the Warrego Highway at Dinmore, but the crash has since been cleared and traffic has returned to normal.
Paramedics assessed eight patients at the scene and transported two adults and an infant to the Ipswich Hospital in stable conditions, with no major injuries.
