Emergency crews have responded after a truck rolled, which forced a major highway to close in regional Queensland.

Emergency services responded to the crash on the Warrego Highway and Jondaryan Mount Tyson Rd about 11.55am Friday morning.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were on scene and have worked to remove the driver from the vehicle, which is on its side.

Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics assessed the driver for injuries and was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a stable condition.

The cause of the roll over is also unknown and initial reports also indicate a crane will be required to recover the truck, which has spilt a large amount of oil.
