Westfield Coomera: New centre boasts roller skating, burgers and putt putt beer garden

ROLLER skating, burgers and boozy putt putt are just some of the exciting new additions coming to the Gold Coast’s newest shopping centre. See what else is coming.

THE Coast’s newest shopping centre will include a roller skating rink, Betty’s Burgers and a putt putt beer garden.

Dining, lifestyle and entertainment will play a large role at the $470 million Westfield Coomera, offering a diverse line-up of new and familiar options, available when the centre opens in October.

DOORS TO OPEN “BEFORE CHRISTMAS” AT WESTFIELD COOMERA

Among the most exciting of the new activities are the first-to-market experiences from iPlay Adventure, featuring climbing obstacles, a high-ropes course, roller-skating, laser tag, arcade games and more.

The Park Coomera boasts a “putt putt meets beer-garden” style venue with full bar and pizzeria, full lane bowling, live music stage, life-size board games and arcade.

Westfield Coomera will also home northern Gold Coast’s first Goodlife Health Club.

On the foodie front, familiar favourites Betty’s Burgers will feature alongside Nahm Thai restaurant, Kamikaze Teppanyaki and Bar, craft beer specialists Tapworks Bar and Grill and two level restaurant Beach House Bar and Grill.

Lone Star Rib House will also be a go-to for slow-cooked, wings and burgers while Miss Claude’s Crepe’s will become a favourite for all things sweet.

Other retailers include first to region Little Red Dumpling serving up authentic homemade dumplings, Piato for Mediterranean-style classics and Barbacoa for traditional cuisine inspired by the streets of Mexico City.

Westfield Coomera Centre Manager Lauren Frew said the vision was to create a “vibrant community hub”.

“Our new lifestyle, dining and entertainment destination not only caters to a diverse range of interests and tastes, but will be unlike anything else in the Northern Gold Coast. We’re looking forward to welcoming customers into centre from October,” she said.

Light and airy, with leafy courtyards and a true Queensland feel, the outdoor dining space is sure to become a favourite among the local community.

Westfield Coomera will bring a total of 140 specialty stores to the area, including Woolworths, Coles, Kmart, Target, and an Event Cinemas complex with Gold Class.
