Global megastar Pink has been spotted on the Gold Coast ahead of her highly anticipated concert next week.
The singer and her husband Carey Hart were seen riding motorbikes near the Langham Hotel in Surfers Paradise, where it is understood they are staying during their time in the city.
The couple – both dressed casually with helmets covering their faces – zoomed past reporters into the hotel’s underground car park on Thursday afternoon.
The three-time Grammy Award winner is bringing her Summer Carnival stadium tour to Carrara’s Heritage Bank Stadium on Tuesday, February 20.
The Glitter Strip snagged just one show in Pink’s 2024 tour, with the international pop icon heading to major cities including Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth before wrapping her Australian leg in Townsville.
City leaders have lauded the Gold Coast’s success in drawing big-name acts – with other recent gets including Paul McCartney, Harry Styles, and the recently announced Pearl Jam tour – saying McCartney’s one-night show injected $4m into the economy alone.
Hart was riding a chromed out Indian Pursuit Powerhorse bike. He’s expected to show up at the Indian Motorcycles dealership in Biggera Waters on Saturday, where fans could score a signed poster and have the chance to ride with him.
Mr Hart announced on Tuesday he will ride with locals after meeting at the Iron and Resin Garage from 12pm.
“Hey Gold Coast!!!!!!!! Let’s hang this Saturday!!!!!!!!! Figured since I was in Australia w/ the family, it was a good chance to hit some @indianmotorcycleaustralia dealerships and do some riding! Stop by Indian Motorcycle Gold Coast (in Queensland) for a poster, and if you have a bike, come for a ride to @ironandresingarage,” he wrote on social media.
