One teen is dead, another is injured after being stabbed, allegedly with a large hunting knife, at Surfers Paradise overnight.
Police have launched a homicide investigation as they continue to search for those involved.
On Saturday afternoon police released five pictures of three people, believed to be in their late teens, who may hold answers to what happened to the pair.
Emergency Services were called to the scene outside the IGA supermarket on Surfers Paradise Blvd around 8.10pm on Friday night following reports of a street fight between two groups.
It’s believed they did not know each other.

Parkwood boy Jack Beasley, 17, was rushed to Gold Coast University Hospital with life-threatening injuries, but died overnight.
A second 17-year-old boy, from Pacific Pines, was also injured and remains in Gold Coast University Hospital.
Police said both boys were stabbed in the chest and back.
Today officers are still searching for a number of people who ran from the scene when emergency services arrived.
No charges have been laid and investigations are ongoing.
An Incident Centre has been established at Surfers Paradise Police Station with local detectives, specialist police and detectives from the Homicide Investigation Group.
