TWO children have been rushed to hospital after a near-drowning in a Gold Coast hotel pool.

Emergency services rushed to a Surfers Paradise hotel after calls came in at 9.45am.

The boys, both under 10 years old, had swallowed a considerable amount of water, but had not lost consciousness, according to a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson.

They were both taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

It comes a day after a near-drowning at Main Beach on Tuesday afternoon, where six people were pulled from the water in a mass rescue.
