Singer-songwriter Troye Sivan has sent a heartfelt message to fans as he continues his travels through the Gold Coast.
The 29-year-old has been living it up in the city after wrapping up his Something To Give Each Other tour last month, dining with friends at swanky Langham Gold Coast hotel on Friday.
However the crooner has also been mixing with locals at less salubrious locations, posting a picture from a Woolworths supermarket aside a message to his followers.
“Thank you to every single person who came to one of our shows this year. We are celebrating you with a beautiful little holiday and drinks,” he wrote.
“Thanks for changing our lives.”
Known for songs Rush, Strawberries and Cigarettes and Angel Baby, the artist has been nominated for three Grammys, a Golden Globe and taken out multiple MTV and other major industry awards.
Spectators watched on as the South African-born star was spotted walking down to the Surfers Paradise beach, taking up a spot in the afternoon sun by the red and yellow flags.
He was later seen at the Woolworths supermarket and snapping shots at a Surfers Paradise foot spa, Barefoot Fish.
Sivan follows a string of major Hollywood celebrities who have stayed at the five-star Langham Gold Coast hotel.
Hollywood heavyweight Mark Wahlberg sent Gold Coast media personalities into a frenzy in September after he was spotted at the up-market hotel while filming his upcoming movie, Balls Up.
Comedian Chris Rock, musician Pink, Guns and Roses bassist Duff McKagan and model wife Susan Holmes McKagan have all been part of the hotel’s A-list guest list.
