Retros

Songs from the 80s are blaring, tracks from the 90s are pumping, and tunes from the 2000s will teleport you back in time.

With old-school tracks and fishbowls the size of your head, and Hollywood-themed cocktails, Retros Cocktail Bar is the place to be if you’re looking for a glitter and neon-filled night.

With its underground disco decor and Noughties hits Retro dance floor is always pumping.

And if you ever forget it, the neon sign on the wall will remind you “When life gives you lemonade - add vodka”

Bedroom Lounge Bar

Make sure to leave everything you think about “normal” at the door, Asylum nightclub is free from expectations and judgement all it asks, is that you have an insane night.

This club has commercial dance music with an electric clinical decor and edgy industrial bars.

Havana

Boasting the title of the Gold Coast’s number one RnB nightclub, Havana promises to keep the party going non-stop.

A hidden haven of non-stop beats that will stimulate your soul through an unforgettable night.

Havana offers more than a nightclub, it offers an RnB culture that can be found nowhere else on the Glitter Strip.

Arcade

Arcade is throwing a “frat party” on Thursdays for the class of 2023.

The nightclub hosts the best of local and international house and tech house DJs as well as live indie bands.

Arcade is located right in the heart of Orchid Ave strip, and promises partygoers a “different club experience like no other.”

Owner-operator Mark James, former organiser of Future Music and Summerfield Dayze festivals, said the venue had a “lounge retro vibe” offering a “sophisticated” take on Coast clubbing.

Doors open to the public from 9pm till late.

Cali Beach

Party the night away at the Cali Beach club turning a night-time into a tropical oasis against the backdrop of the Gold Coast skyline.

Cali Beach is one of Australia’s largest day and night entertainment precinct for partygoers.

Free admission to all guests, there are pools, sun loungers, sporting areas including a giant sandpit for volleyball, and a selection of drinks and dining options for patrons to enjoy while looking over the Gold Coast skyline and ocean.

Casablanca

Controversial new venue Casablanca has caused quite the stir along the Glitter Strip.

Casablanca is a “late-night” experience with food and entertainment for partygoers and is open from 3pm Friday and Saturday nights until 3am.

The Gold Coast city council had put the new Surfers Paradise venue on notice it must not operate as a nightclub after an influx of noise complaints before it even opened.

Residents raised concerns over noise complaints coming from 58 Cavill Ave venue.

Casablanca previously operated out of a Broadbeach location as a nightclub before its closure in the former Love Night-life space on Albert St.

Steampunk
