THE company bringing you a new and improved version of famed Surfers Paradise nightclub The Bedroom is promising you’ll have a ball of a time.
The Orchid Avenue nightlife mainstay is being relaunched with an invite-only party on Friday before the doors open to the public from 9pm.

Guests will discover a lighter, brighter more open lounge bar setting inside the downstairs club after Artesian Hospitality shelled out six figures on a complete revamp.
Features include a ball pit, bespoke cocktail list, giant showpiece bathtub display and cabinets for high-end alcohol storage.

Artesian partner Matt Keegan said it made it more of a lounge bar aimed at attracting teens with appeal to an older demographic in the 20s, 30s and 40s.
“We have been wanting for a long time to take Surfers from that reputation it had to lift it up, make it fresh, make it new and turn it more into an adult entertainment spot for all ages.
It's got a combination of lounge bar and late night. Throughout COVID it will operate as lounge bar and sort of like a nightclub. We are also looking at opening earlier.
“We wanted to incorporate neon, a lot of things that are coming back, give people those instagrammable moments, we also wanted to change the venue layout,” he said.
It will also bee taking booth and table bookings ahead to avoid queues.
