Skin treatments, cocktails and coffee on the menu at new Gold Coast facial bar

Fancy a cocktail or glass of bubbly while you get a facial? A new bar set to launch on the Gold Coast has it all - even flakes of gold. Find out when and where it is opening.

A luxurious new salon has combined facials with cocktails to offer a first-of-its-kind, self-care experience in 90 minutes or less.

Opening Saturday, The Facial Bar in Mermaid Beach promises to deliver a bespoke skincare treatment in an atmosphere described as a “luxurious living room”.

Creator Kelly Noone said those who walked through the doors of the bar would be greeted by their very own facial expert.

Customers can then choose a treatment from the curated facial menu with optional add-ons such as gold flakes, a lip plumping massage or LED light therapy.

“Our mission is to change the entire facial experience for every customer,” Ms Noone said.

“For too long self-care has been about results-driven treatments, chemical peels and the pressure of ‘fixing something’, matched with an overwhelming and uncomfortable sales experience at the end.

“I’ve found it hard to find a reputable salon where the client’s journey and experience is the focus and priority.

“The Facial Bar will fill this exact gap and offer a luxury day spa experience built into your everyday life where you can be in and out in 90 minutes.”

And the best part? Once your treatment is finished you can relax in the bar’s chill out zone with a sneaky cocktail, glass of bubbles, coffee and sparkling or still water.

Or if you’re in a rush, they will even make your coffee to go.
