Motorists had a morning of traffic mayhem after a four-car crash caused the closure of two lanes on the Gold Coast.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services were called to the incident on the Pacific Motorway southbound in Coomera, close to exit 54, at around 8am.
A Gold Coast police spokesperson said two cars were badly damaged in the crash.
The spokesperson said police used the right shoulder to clear the incident and had closed lanes three and four.
All four cars were towed away by 9am.
Paramedics were called to the scene after six people were involved in the crash.
An ambulance spokesperson said they took a female in her 20s with leg and arm abrasions to Gold Coast University Hospital.
They assessed another person but they declined transport to hospital.
Four other people refused to be assessed.
