Peggy Flannery has lightened the family’s holdings on a Gold Coast beachfront by exiting a luxury tower.

PEGGY Flannery, who’s behind the redevelopment of the Kirra Beach Hotel site, has lightened the family’s holdings on the Surfers Paradise beachfront by exiting luxury Jade tower.

She bought the Northcliffe Tce whole-floor home from a mortgagee for $3 million in 2011 and is heading for the door with $5.465 million – the highest price paid in the building since the GFC ended.

right royal purchase in toowong

XUFEN Pan, owner of a chateau-like home at Paradise Waters, has emerged as the mystery Gold Coast person behind the purchase of Toowong’s Royal Exchange Hotel.

A company he directs, Australian Paradise Land, paid $14.05 million at auction for the hotel, which carries a lease and options that run out to 2068.

Xufen, who paid $5.3 million in 2018 for his ‘chateau’, bought the students’ favourite on a 4.1 per cent yield, with an Endeavour Drinks arm the tenant.

sale trounces building record

GREG Eastment, the car dealer planning to build an elite $100 million beachfront tower called Amani at Main Beach, has set a record nearby.

He’s sold his ground-floor apartment in the boutique SEA building for $7.5 million, trouncing the previous record in the seven-title property for a whole-floor home.

The sale was handled by Harry Kakavas, the agent who helped Greg amalgamate the Four Corners site that is to take Amani.
