Motorists should expect extra delays on the M1 after a crash at Pimpama on Monday morning.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of a motorcycle and car collision on the Pacific Motorway southbound around 8am.
Paramedics treated the motorcycle rider, a man in his 20s, at the scene for a significant injury to his hand and facial injuries around 8.30am.
He was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
