“Police would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance,” it read.

A Queensland Police spokesperson said a 34-year-old Arundel woman would help police with the investigation.

She was taken to hospital following the incident to be assessed for any medical or health related problems.

Earlier, police said the boys “may be at significant risk” after a woman known to them was seen bundling them into a car.
