Nerang crash: Woman, child taken to hospital

A woman and a primary school aged child have been taken to hospital after a nasty two-car collision on the Gold Coast.

A woman in her twenties and a young girl have been taken to hospital in stable conditions after a nasty two car collision on the Gold Coast on Sunday.

The woman and the primary school-aged child were treated by paramedics after the vehicles collided at the junction of Mortensen Rd and Gilston Rd at 1253pm.

A Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) spokesperson said both were taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.

Another woman in her twenties was to hospital earlier on Sunday after her e-bike and a car collided at Hamilton Ave in Surfers Paradise.

A QAS spokesperson said the woman had been taken to hospital in stable condition.
