Margot Robbie spills tea on Aussie visit to waitress at Gold Coast’s Bumbles Cafe

Hollywood actress Margot Robbie has been spotted on the Gold Coast again - a week after she was filmed serving up drinks behind a Burleigh bar.

Hollywood actress Margot Robbie has spilled the tea on the real reason for her extended Aussie holiday while visiting a Gold Coast cafe.

The Barbie star was spotted at Bumbles Cafe in Surfers Paradise on Tuesday and Wednesday - a week after she was filmed serving drinks behind a Burleigh Heads bar.

Margot tucked into a bottomless bubbly brunch with a friend and stopped for a selfie with Bumbles waitress Claire Lyons.

She also revealed the real reason for her trip to the Gold Coast during a quick chat with the waitress.

“She is not buying a house here like the media is saying,” Ms Lyons said.

“She has family here and that is why she is visiting.”

Ms Lyons described the encounter with the A-lister as “amazing”.

“She is a beautiful lady inside and out,” the waitress said.

The surprise visit was not the cafe’s first celebrity encounter.

“We get a few celebrities here - Boy George and Zara Phillips,” Ms Lyons said.

“Natalie Imbruglia comes in regularly.”

Margot was born in the town of Dalby and grew up on the Gold Coast before she got her first big break on Neighbours.

Her mum, Sarie Kessler, still lives on the Gold Coast and recently opened up on being a mother and hopes and dreams for her offspring in a rare public speaking event.

The bottomless bubbly brunch at Bumbles will set you back $45 per person and includes a choice of meal and bottomless mimosas for an hour.
