A man has been hospitalised after an alleged assault on the Gold Coast party strip.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Orchid Ave in Surfers Paradise around 12.47am on Tuesday.
Paramedics assessed a man who was involved in the alleged assault.
He was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
A Gold Coast police spokesman said officers issued a 22-year-old Surfers Paradise man with a banning order for violent public nuisance.
It is understood the alleged victim has not yet made a complaint to police.
It comes three weeks after an unrelated incident saw a 27-year-old man arrested on the same street after an alleged assault.
A Gold Coast police spokesman said two men were involved in the altercation around 12am on December 3, in which of them was allegedly assaulted.
A 31-year-old man was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with face and head injuries.
